Im guessing these are the plain ones? No "players" jerseys right?

Yes blank. Although they did tell me that the Eye across from sec 113 will do name/number if you want. I'm sure at extra cost wink.gif

Does that mean they would do the old name and number if you have a vintage jersey in the old lettering?

I don't believe them. They feel different.

They're not. Same font, same size. How are they different?

Different material to go with the different jersey material.

Hockey Giant has the same jerseys for $30.

The eBay store Mootown Athletic Wear has 'em for $35.

I wouldn't object to it.

And that's a great idea about selling Rats jerseys in there. That'd be sweet.

Nah, I'd love to though. Once I get my license, I'll probably try to go down there to watch some games.

I hate double posting, but I felt this was necessary. $45 for a Premier replica.

Maybe they're re-doing the material for next season's replicas?
bigbander
sorry...just checked your stats and saw you were only 16.

There are not many places in Raleigh where one can buy NHL jerseys. Having some available at the store sure would be convenient for some displaced hockey fans. Should there be more "Eye" stores in the Raleigh area?

The Cary Ice House is having a huge sale in their Inside Edge pro shop all this weekend. They have quite a few Canes jerseys (and some other teams too) but Im not sure if they'll be on sale. Could just be all the hockey equipment but it would be worth a check.

Any other place in Raleigh that does name/number (quality of course)?

I see what you're saying but the "EYE" is exactly what it is. A Hurricanes store only. If I were going to buy a Canes jersey I would want the profits to go the the Canes instead of going to a Craps game and buying one there. I want our organization to grow. You can't buy a UNC sweatshirt at NC State and yes I realize that is a college sport and not professional. Is this done anywhere else that we know of? Sure maybe it would work but just how often would someone purchase one and would it be more of a hassle than a benefit. Plus the space is limited and it seems to me that we don't have any room for other jersey's.

Are we the Carolina Sabres? The Carolina Rangers? The Carolina Capitals?
NO..We are the Carolina HURR-I-CANES!
There are plenty of places to buy other jerseys and gear ( IF you are so inclined ) ELSEWHERE.

Wihle folks are surfing the net or in their travels, if anybody finds a goalie cut jersey PLEASE PM me!!! I can't find one around the net, so I may have to see about getting one made for me.

I called them and it's $75 to personalize it, so $135 total.

I dont think it would be bad to sell jerseys of the Affilate teams such as the river rats and the plymouth whalers. Since the Rats jersey is pretty much identical to a Canes one, and the whalers one is well... a whalers one. As far as other NHL teams? Why? Its hard enough keeping the Buffalo and Montreal fans out of the RBC why would you want them shopping there? laugh.gif

There used to be an EYE store at Crabtree Valley Mall which was awesome, but they closed it down during the lockout year, which kinda sucked cause I still would have bought stuff even with no season. It was in the food court where the LIDS is now. The only offical EYE store is at RBC. The Foot Locker and other stores at the mall have jerseys but a pretty limited selection. Staal only, XL size only etc etc...

There's now a HockeyGiant in Raleigh, Avaholic? Very cool! I've sworn by the Anaheim HG for five years -- heck, my boy Gerbs signed for fans there in October 2003 (of course I showed up for that! biggrin.gif ) -- and have had several jerseys personalized there, including one for a Canes fan.

Here's hoping y'all have the same top-flight experience with your HG that I had with the Anaheim store. cool.gif

At the Sabres Store at HSBC Arena they sell jerseys of all NHL teams. It is not a large selection though, probably only one or so jersey per team on a rack against the side wall. They also sell NHL team pucks and media guides (which I think is pretty cool, I bought a Canucks one once), above the rack where the jerseys are. The majority of the store is Sabres gear though of course, I'd say definitely no more than 10% is other teams. I've never been to the RBC Center so I have no idea how big of an area you have, but I have heard that the Sabres Store is one of the largest arena stores in the NHL, so that might be a factor since you mentioned that you think space is already limited.

Indeed, at the DBAP they have Tampa Rays jerseys. I know that situation is us the other way around but felt I should mention.

I received an email form Hockeyattair.com. They have Authentic KOHO & CMC & replica Jerseys 1/2 off when you use alloff50 as the promo code. hockeyattire.com

All gear not just Hurricanes....

I tried the coupon code and it works...

Yeah.. on that same line, the River Rats sell Cane's jerseys, at least on their website.
